We enjoy the classics, too: Traditional (H.323) Video Conferencing

The first standard protocol for packet-based multimedia communication, H.323 has handled most of the Internet's video conferencing and networked collaboration since the mid-1990s. It is the international standard for voice, video, and data conferencing, and can be found in computers, fax machines, telephones, PDAs, and routers, just to name a few.

Portable, relocatable

CHPC currently uses the Polycom ViaVideo II personal video system, which is an all-in-one audio and video communication system capable of 30fps full-motion video and full-duplex audio with echo cancellation. The ViaVideo II can connect to any desktop or laptop with an available USB port, so your portability is limited only by your computer's proximity to a network jack or phone line.

INSCC Lecture Hall

The INSCC lecture hall is set up for broadcast and non-broadcast presentations.

Larger scale requirements

The 50 seat INSCC lecture hall (located on the first floor) is equipped with all the cameras, microphones, and projectors a lecturer or presenter would need to accommodate both broadcast and non-broadcast presentations. Numerous conveniences such as touch panels and remote control devices ease the task of making presentations, freeing presenters to concentrate on their lectures instead of fumbling with hardware. And for those who have 35mm slides that need to be included in their presentations, CHPC offers the use of its 35mm slide to NTSC video converter.
