CHPC offers multimedia support in the following areas:

To facilitate these services we use and support Adobe Photoshop, The Gimp, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Illustrator.

Equipment

CHPC has at it disposal a wide range of video production equipment to assist researchers. Dubbing and video capture from the following formats are supported: BetaCamSP, S-VHS/VHS (NTSC and PAL), Hi8mm, DVCPro, MiniDV.

There are also three video cameras available for use. A semi-professional DVCPro camera with SMTPE time code and two pro-sumer miniDV cameras.

Internet Broadcasting

A Darwin Streaming Server is available to stream both live and pre-recorded video for viewing from remote sites.
