CHPC moving from JIRA to Service-Now for Helpdesk issues and incidents

On January 29th CHPC will be moving our issues tracking to a different platform (from JIRA to Service-Now). We hope to make this as transparent as possible, but you will definitely notice a difference in the formatting of emails. One thing to note is the change in terminology. Issues are now called Incidents.

If you interact with the JIRA gui, you will want to use https://uofu.service-now.com/it beginning January 29th.

 If you want to start using the new system before January 29th, you may send to sntest@chpc.utah.edu now and your reports will be addressed just like they have been in jira. On January 29th the new email address to use will be helpdesk@chpc.utah.edu.

We appreciate your patience as we all adjust to this new system.

Note that issues@chpc.utah.edu will be forwarded to the helpdesk@chpc.utah.edu address.
