Coming soon: Changes to CHPC user onboarding (CHPC Portal)

The CHPC is continuing development of the CHPC Portal, portal.chpc.utah.edu. An upcoming release will include features related to user and group management. Notably,

• CHPC PIs and their approved delegates will be able to invite, manage, and remove researchers from their groups in the CHPC Portal
• Requests for CHPC PI status, or new CHPC groups, will be submitted through the CHPC Portal
• CHPC resource requests, such as requests for virtual machines and storage, are gradually being moved away from informal email/ticket exchanges and toward structured forms in the CHPC Portal
