Businesses worldwide are using artificial intelligence to solve their greatest challenges. Healthcare professionals use AI to enable more accurate, faster diagnoses in patients. Retail businesses use it to offer personalized customer shopping experiences. Automakers use it to make personal vehicles, shared mobility, and delivery services safer and more efficient. Deep learning is a powerful AI approach that uses multi-layered artificial neural networks to deliver state-of-the-art accuracy in tasks such as object detection, speech recognition, and language translation. Using deep learning, computers can learn and recognize patterns from data that are considered too complex or subtle for expert-written software.

Registration is required; space is limited. This training is offered exclusively to verifiable academic students, staff, and researchers. Please use your institutional email address when registering. Registrants using personal email addresses will not receive further details about the event.

Save the Date for the One-U Responsible AI Initiative Annual Symposium

Location: Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House, 155 South Central Campus Drive, Salt Lake City

This one-day event brings together campus and community partners to explore the future of responsible AI. Hear from university, state, and national leaders and enjoy talks from university researchers in the initiative’s thematic areas: environment, health care and wellness, and teaching and learning. Plus, network and browse research posters.

Call for research posters

Researchers from across the state are invited to present their work at the symposium poster session. When registering for the event via Luma, select the checkbox that reads, "I'm interested in presenting a poster during the event."
