One-U Responsible Artificial Intelligence Initiative Annual Symposium

Join us at the One-U Responsible Artificial Intelligence Annual Symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, October 6. This one-day event brings together campus and community partners to explore the future of responsible AI. Celebrate the official launch of the Redtail AI Factory supercomputer—learn what this state-of-the-art resource means for Utah, and preview the inaugural challenge projects that will run on the system. Hear from university, state, and national leaders and enjoy talks from university researchers in the initiative’s thematic areas: environment, health care and wellness, and teaching and learning. Plus, network and browse research posters. Registration is required.

Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center: Machine Learning and Big Data

The CHPC is hosting Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center's Machine Learning and Big Data workshop as a satellite site on Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14. This on-campus event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. MDT on Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. MDT on Wednesday. Registration is required.

2026 NSF Cybersecurity Summit

The [2026 NSF Cybersecurity] Summit brings together leaders in research cyberinfrastructure (CI), cybersecurity, and higher ed researchers to build a trusting, collaborative community that addresses the community's core cybersecurity challenges. The Summit is in Irvine, California from October 27 to 29. Registration is required.

2026 DELPHI Data Science Initiative Symposium

Please join us for the 2026 DELPHI Data Science Initiative Symposium on Friday, October 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. MDT at the University of Utah (303 Chipeta Way). The annual symposium will feature talks, posters, and networking opportunities highlighting the wide range of biomedical data science research taking place at the University of Utah.
