Coding Agents at the CHPC
In this presentation, we will discuss using coding agents on CHPC resources with a focus on TUI-based programs such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode. We will explain what coding agents are, how they differ from chat-only assistants, and why they are becoming useful for scientific computing. The talk will include an overview of practical use cases, an introduction to CHPC coding agent modules, a brief demonstration, and a few tips on responsible use while maximizing utility. As this is a rapidly evolving technology, we are planning future talk to futher elaborate on the fundamentals and practical use.
